Yet the righteous will hold to his way, And he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger. Job 17:9
Life is God's gift and has a God's mandate. All Life is designed to fulfil God's agenda. Everyday count in the plan of God. Sometimes, when we are confronting challenges, our common reaction is either to give up or to run away after a try.
We must remember that only those who continuously and fearfully keep moving are victorious. "Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us
go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30
When my beloved wife, Sabrina wanted to pass her driving test. She went for the first test full of confidence. We prayed for it and I saw her fasting. We did not see how things could go wrong. She came back with a no pass.
We blamed the inspector of been to harsh, the hour to busy, the other road drivers for been either too reckless or too slow. She booked for a second test. We did the same as the first time. she got again a no pass note. We forget what the Scriptures says : “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. . Isaiah 55:8
Out of discouragement; she judged herself severely and was about to give up.
Then, The Holy Spirit ministered to us and reminded us what the Scriptures said concerning the righteous:" Many are the afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord delivers him out of them all." Psalm 34:19
In simple words, many are our challenges, defeats, failures; disappointments, rejections, persecutions, tribulations, sorrows...In fact, Christianity is not roses, glamour, red tapes, celebrations, parties ever and after; but it is a life of constant purification and sanctification for absolute perfection.
God will always allow all these negatives circumstances to happen for our perfection.
let remember the ten lepers in Luke 17: 11-19: " Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.17 So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? 18 Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” 19 And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”
So Keep moving on with your life!
Finally, Sabrina went for the third time and got an absolute spotless success.
We learnt something important about our God's philosophy: He will allow us to go through the shadow of death in order to bring us out more perfect. It is said in the Book of Samuel : "God is my strength and power, And He makes my way perfect." 2 Samuel 22:33
So, keep moving no matter where you are or what you are facing or who is hindering you or how you feel about yourself, God is perfecting you. "13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world," Philippians 2: 13-15
